At the National Centre for Nuclear Research the IMPET project has launched đ. IMPET – Multi-photon positron emission tomography for industrial imaging aims to develop innovative industrial imaging techniques supported by artificial intelligence methods. The team led by Dr. Wojciech KrzemieĆ will develop methods for:
- imaging dynamics of granular materials and fluids,
- 3D imaging of porous materials,
- artificial intelligence for image correction,
- utilization of quantum measurements of matter properties in industrial imaging.
The project outcome will be the design of an innovative scanner for industrial imaging for use in, among others, scientific laboratories and research departments of companies. The research will be conducted in cooperation with scientific partners Prof. Beatrix Hiesmayr from UniversitÀt Wien and Prof. David Sarrut from Creatis Lyon. The business partner of the project is Creotech Instruments S.A. Team recruitment will begin soon.
