Not one but two NAWA mobility grants

We are pleased to announce that Wojciech Krzemień, leader of the IMPET project, has been awarded a two-year mobility grant under the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) programme “Poland–France Joint Research Projects 2025 – PHC Polonium 2025”.

The project, entitled “Positronium Physics in GATE 10: Simulations and Image Reconstruction”, will be carried out in collaboration with David Sarrut and Aurélien Coussat from the interdisciplinary CREATIS Biomedical Imaging Research Laboratory in Lyon. This funding will support international researcher mobility and strengthen Polish–French cooperation in advanced simulations and image reconstruction methods for positronium-based imaging.

This is the second NAWA grant awarded recently. The previous one was for a project Beyond Monte Carlo: Quantum Computing and AI Approaches to Multi-Photon Systems Simulations.
